A lovely two bedroom cottage, sleeping 5 and set in 3/4 of an acre woodland garden. The Lodge lies within the grounds of the Penwarne Estate, just outside the pretty village of Mawnan Smith with its good pub, restaurant and famous tropical gardens. The beautiful coastal paths and sailing waters of the Helford river, the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth and the sandy beaches at Maenporth are all within a short drive.

Penwarne Lodge has a calm, relaxed feel, furnished with floral fabrics and features a collection of original black and white photography. The ground floor has a well-equipped modern kitchen overlooking the secluded private garden. To the front of the cottage are a traditional country style dining room and comfortable living room, equipped with TV/DVD and a selection of games and DVDs. A light, airy bathroom, with bath, shower, basin and W.C. also overlooks the garden. Upstairs are two generous bedrooms with far reaching rural views ö a double room with super king size bed and a second twin room which can be converted into a double bed or accommodate a further single bed according to your requirements. Private parking is provided on a gravel drive adjacent to the Lodge and beside an extensive lawn. Night storage heating is provided for the colder months. Pets welcome, subject to agreement with owner. This is a non smoking property.

The 12 acre private gardens at Penwarne, described as magical in the Good Gardens Guide, are one of the most notable in the area. Guests staying at the Lodge in Spring and early Summer can, by appointment, enjoy a tour of the gardens, which include one of the largest collections of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias in the county.
