Querle is a spacious detached cottage, renovated in 2010, set in extensive grounds leading down to the Helford River. The top garden, including a large BBQ and dining area, provides seclusion and wonderful views over unspoilt countryside and the River, enjoying sunshine from dawn to sunset.
The path past the house down to the water winds through Bluebell woods to a spectacular foreshore (shared only by the neighbour), with the only private jetty on the river. A private mooring and easy dinghy, windsurfer or kayak storage and launching make this a boater’s paradise. Crabbing and fishing off the jetty add to the enchantment.
Golf, tennis, spa and swimming pool are a few hundred yards up the road., and some of the finest gardens in Cornwall are within walking distance.
 
 
 

The property enjoys either garden or river views from all rooms. The living room has spectacular views, a conservatory, and a spacious decked terrace,. The kitchen leads into an open plan dining area with utility facilities, all with superb views. A patio door leads to an outside terrace and garden area. Upstairs there as a library / games area, a master double bedroom, a twin / double bedroom, and a full bathroom with bath / shower / bidet and WC. Pets are at the owners discretion. Since this is a real Swallows and Amazons property, with direct access to the water, young children are not recommended unless under full adult supervision
