Set in one and a half acres of land it offers a tranquil setting for those wanting a break from the bustle of modern living. Just a short drive from the Helford River, the beautiful gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan and beaches, also harbour of Falmouth.

The property is surrounded by countryside and the large garden full of wild birds. From the terrace there are lovely views over Argal Reservoir a beautiful nature reserve with access to the walks from drive to the property and offers good sport for the enthusiastic fisherman. This whole area has so much to discover you will want to visit again and again.

This detached property dating back to the early 1800's has been beautifully updated by the owners and offers really comfortable accommodation. Lots of character with pine floorboards, wood burning stove in the lounge, Aga in the kitchen, and lovely views to the lake from the bedroom, barbecue area and garden. The entrance porch leads to a comfortable lounge with the cosy wood burner, and a separate large farmhouse kitchen/diner with Aga and pine furniture add to the lovely feel of the property. Ground floor cloakroom with wash hand basin and WC. Upstairs are two double bedded rooms both with views to the lake and a family bathroom with bath/shower over, a bidet, WC and wash hand basin. All beds have duvets and bed linen plus towels are provided. There is parking for two cars, and a £100 deposit against damages is required, and if refundable after satisfactory inspection. This is a non smoking property. Pets are not allowed.
