This licenced club welcomes visitors (temporary membership available) and serves good food from its position overlooking the creek.
Port Navas is an ideal location from which either to visit the Lizard Peninsular, which is famous for its many sandy beaches and fine cliff top walks, or to relax on or around the Helford River. Motor boats can be hired from Helford Passage, less than two miles away if you want to explore Frenchman’s Creek (little changed since Daphne du Maurier made it famous), or the many other unspoilt creeks, quays, coves and beaches of this area of outstanding natural beauty. Between the cottage and village of Mawnan Smith approx 2 miles away are two stunning gardens which are open to the public, Glendurgan, which is owned by the National Trust, and Trebah are both worthy of a visit.

Falmouth is not far away, where boat trips on the Fal can be enjoyed. Ferries also run from there frequently to Flushing and to St. Mawes on the beautiful Roseland peninsular. Falmouth is steeped in maritime history and a trip to its Maritime Museum is a must for all ages. The town also boasts a spectacular castle, great beaches and good shops as well as a fine swimming pool and cinema. Whatever the weather there is always something to do there!

Sailing, walking, golfing and horse riding are also available in the area for the more energetic, whilst for lovers of rare malt whisky a visit to Constantine Stores is a treat to be savoured.

The ground floor has a lounge with beamed ceilings and wood burner, plus oil-fired central heating in all rooms. The kitchen is well equipped, opening to a dining area. The back door from the dining area leads out to the rear garden with lawn and patio area overlooking the orchard and stream. The main bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and W.C. is on the ground floor. The first floor has three bedrooms (two twins and a single) as well as a shower room with wash basin and W.C.
This is a non-smoking cottage. Pets are not allowed unless permission is given by the owners. There is parking for two cars and a small dinghy.
