A lovely two bedroom cottage, sleeping 5 and set in 3/4 of an acre woodland garden. The Lodge lies within the grounds of the Penwarne Estate, just outside the pretty village of Mawnan Smith.

The beautiful coastal paths and sailing waters of the Helford river, the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth and the sandy beaches at Maenporth are all nearby. Private tours of gardens certain times of year. The ground floor has a well-equipped modern kitchen overlooking the secluded private garden. To the front of the cottage are a traditional country style dining room and comfortable living room with the benefit of a wood burning stove for the cooler months. A light, airy bathroom also overlooks the garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms with rural views - a double room with super king size bed and a twin/double room which can accommodate a further single bed.

Private parking is provided on the gravel drive adjacent to the Lodge. Night storage heating is provided for the colder months. Pets welcome, subject to agreement with owner. This is a non smoking property. A £50 deposit against breakages required.
The 12 acre private gardens at Penwarne, described as magical‚ in the Good Gardens Guide, are one of the most notable in the area. Guests staying at the Lodge in Spring and early Summer can, by appointment, enjoy a tour of the gardens, which include one of the largest collections of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias in the county.
