Cove 2 is a large apartment located above the Cove Bar and Restaurant opposite Maenporth Beach. It's the perfect choice of family accommodation for a beach-based holiday. Literally a few minutes from the bay, and 10 minutes from the bustling town of Falmouth where you'll find something of interest for everyone in your party. It's decorated throughout in neutral shades which reflect the light and makes the property feel spacious.
The apartment is all on one level and accessed via external steps at the far side of the property. Once inside you'll see the huge open-plan living and dining area. The walls, painted in a warm cream, are the perfect canvas for the property's original artwork and ceramics. There are two large, squashy sofas and a matching armchair, all made from suede the shade of linen - it's the ultimate in comfort after a long fun-filled day on the beach. You'll find plenty of books and family games to keep you entertained in the evenings. The dining area is close to the kitchen, and easily seats 5 guests or more, so you can even ask a friend along for lunch. The kitchen itself is fully equipped with just about everything you'd need for a family holiday. It's a great spot for creating delicious suppers, and there's plenty of work top space so everyone can chip in without feeling cramped.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and plenty of storage space for your holiday clothes. It's got two Velux windows so you can drift off the sleep, watching the stars twinkle. There's an en-suite shower room, tiled in gleaming white and with a colourful border. This bedroom is on the front, so you'll wake up to the gentle sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. The second bedroom has bunk beds and the third has just a single bed - ideal if Grandma's coming to stay too. One adorable feature of these rooms are the teddy bears - yes, every bedroom has a teddy, individually dressed and just waiting for bedtime cuddles. As an added bonus, we are now supplying one bath and one hand towel per guest, free of charge.
Outside, you'll see the large patio area, with table, chairs and uninterrupted views of the beach and Falmouth Bay. It really is a great spot - close enough to feel involved, yet tucked away from others if you just fancy a peaceful afternoon.
And for bookings of one week or more, we'll have a welcome pack ready for your arrival - a bottle of locally made Helford River Creek fruit juice, Cornish filter coffee, Smugglers tea, Cornish biscuits, a few sugar sachets and a pint of milk..
You'll have full use of the leisure facilities, free of charge. Please note: the pool, spa and sauna will be closed from Monday 8th January - 28th February 2018, for annual maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Guests during the half-term week, however, will have use of the swimming pool at the Budock Vean hotel, in nearby Mawnan Smith. Please collect a free voucher from the Leisure Centre.
There is a returnable £100 deposit against damages on this property, and one designated car parking space.

Visit the Maritime Museum, great for children with its hands-on approach. Catch some Grand Medieval Jousting at Pendennis Castle. Or simply sit with a cold glass of white wine and watch the boats glide by.Whatever you choose to do, you’ll be sure to unwind from the stresses of life, and simply relax…
